Smells like moldy old fruit and tastes about the same. Has some off flavors, maybe tastes a little old in general. Next.

  1. Gerald McEwen says:

I’ve had several cases of Oak Vineyards Cabernet Savingnon. Among those bottles there have been a few that were corked, which were accepted back by the wine merchant, but the majority were OK table wine. More like a merlot than a cabernet, with soft tanins and little finish, but certainly adequate as an everyday red table wime for the price. I’ve gotten worse vin du pays in Paris restaurants.
